Yoga for Golfers

Did you know that specifically designed yoga postures could enhance your golf swing and improve your game?

This workshop is designed to produce results as you learn:
• Specific poses to increasing flexibility, strength for distance & balance
• Breath awareness techniques and visualization tools to calm the mind and bring focus, better swing tempo on and off the course
• Improve overall fitness
• Reduce the risk of injury

You will receive handouts of poses and meditations in order to practice in between sessions and beyond. Bring a pitching wedge and golf ball to class. Yoga mats & props will be provided.

Roey Ficaro has been an avid golfer and yoga/meditation instructor for over 20 years  She has combined her 2 passions, yoga and golf to create an effective way to improve flexibility, range of motion & concentration on the course.

The Art of Relaxation with Roey

Join Roey Ficaro for this two hour workshop uniquely designed to guide you into deep states of beneficial Alpha relaxation.  Using techniques such as Yoga Nidra, Hypnotic Induction, Guided Imagery, and Essential Oils, you will practice the four components that comprise deep rest.

Yoga props and longer held poses will create stillness and safety in the body to let go of deeply held tension.  A calmer mind, and a release of negativity and stress will follow as your parasympathetic nervous system allows deep and nurturing healing.

Reiki Level 2 – Second Degree

In the Level 2 Reiki training with Reiki Master Barbara Hennessy you will receive the Level 2 attunement and learn three Reiki symbols, their meaning and application.  The symbols allow you to send healing across distance, and support the deepening of your Reiki practice.

Level 1 training and daily self practice for at least 3 months is required prior to beginning Level 2.

This is a 2 day training on September 15th & 16 – Saturday 12:30 – 5:30pm Sunday 1:00 – 6pm

Cost $300 for Level 2 Certification
