Advancing Your Yoga- Happy Hips (and hamstrings and lower backs)!- with Lois Nesbitt

YOGA WORKSHOP AND BOOK SIGNING

Did you come to yoga with tight hips, a tweaky lower back, or just a desire to touch your toes? Did you come to yoga in fine form, only to develop nagging injuries along the way?

How’s it going?

Far too many people seek out yoga to free up stiffness or alleviate aches and pains, only to find that they are just “too stiff” to perform like the pretzels in the room—or that months of diligent practice has yielded little relief. And they walk (or limp!) away.

Join Lois, known worldwide as an expert in anatomy applied to yoga, as she helps sort out what will and won’t bring you closer to your goals. This highly practical session will provide you with an “x-ray” vision of your bones, joints, and muscles and crystal-clear explanations of why and how you can practice a lifetime of healthier yoga.

A veteran of 25 years of yoga practice and teaching, and one highly successful total hip replacement, Lois will also be on hand to sign copies of her book Hip Op: Beyond Recovery!, the story of her own experience of overdoing uninformed yoga, how it led to a total hip replacement, and how the inner and outer practice of healthy yoga got her back on the mat in record time.

Grab a copy of Lois’s new release, “Hip Op: Beyond Recovery!” right after the workshop.

*This workshop is suitable for students of all levels and abilities. Those with injuries are urged to attend, watch, listen, and learn. Everyone will leave with practical tips on how to heal and prevent injuries.

Sweat, Samadhi, and the Yoga Sutras with Alan and Sarah Finger

Samadhi is the state of yoga, and it is the first pada, or pillar of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. This matrix of pure consciousness is our true nature and our birthright, but it gets clouded by our thoughts and attachments.

In this workshop, Alan and Sarah will draw inspiration from Alan's most recent book: Tantra of the Sutras, to illuminate and integrate the teachings of the sage Patanjali.

The session will include heat-building asana followed by cooling yin postures which will be enhanced through powerful kriya techniques led by Sarah.

Alan will close the practice with a signature Tantric meditation to access this state of yoga, or universal intelligence.

Learn about the wisdom of yoga and gain access to the tools that help us to skillfully weave it back into our living.

The Friday Special: Vision Boarding and the Art Of Manifestation with Lara Land

The Friday Special: Vision Boarding and the Art Of Manifestation with Lara Land

This creative visualization workshop guides students to explore and manifest their definition of bliss.

Discovering one's personal bliss is a birthright found only when we actively create the space to — even momentarily— release the societal and familial pressures filling the forefront of our minds and discover our truth.

This workshop uses guided meditations to help students let go of habits and assumptions that no longer serve them such as, “Being busy always makes for more success" or “Humility and greatness can’t co-exist” and teaches them how to make space for new possibilities in their career, personal and spiritual lives.

Students are introduced to the "As If” principle where they become and fully embody their dreams. These dreams are made actionable by creating small, doable goals which grow self belief. Guided journaling and collage meditations help bring their new visions to life.

Students are encouraged to purchase their own copy of the My Bliss Book planner which they can use daily to remind them of their big-picture goals and the road to them.My Bliss Book comes with a year-long emailed coaching program which helps students fine- tune their manifestation skills via biweekly online coaching, social accountability, and most of all the practice that enables them to visualize, manifest, and embody the birthright of their bliss. Lara is also available to supplement with personal coaching sessions which are designed to accelerate personal growth and life harmony.
