When you walk into Mandala, you can feel the relaxed, non-judgmental sentiment all around you. If it’s your first time walking through our doors, or if you’ve come to call the studio a second home, you will feel the loving vibe that has been created by all of our wonderful students and teachers.

Since our inception in 2001 thousands have stepped into our studio and many have become familiar faces. We are now Mandala Yoga Center for Healing Arts with many daily yoga classes for all levels, therapeutic Yoga classes, classes in various healing arts modalities, Teacher Training, Aromatherapy Workshops, Ayurvedic Courses, Master classes in  Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and more, but we started out much simpler.

History & Philosophy

Mandala Yoga was founded in 2001 by Jolie Parcher. Our original name was Mandala Yoga and Dance Center aiming to bring varieties of dance and movement and yoga to our beautiful east end community. Our focus changed a bit after Jolie received certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in 2006.  Mandala then expanded to include MAHA – Mandala Ayurveda & Healing Arts, a separate space across Amagansett Square to offer ayurvedic hands on oil treatments, massage, diet and lifestyle consultations, meditation, energy work and aromatherapy.

Following the traditions of classic yoga we aim to practice ourselves and to guide people to take yoga off of the mat and into daily life and to learn practices and ways of being that make us more present to being our fullest selves, better for our family and maybe even the whole world.

This is a place of respect, where you are free to grow and learn without being too hard on yourself. At the same time, through classes both beginner and advanced, you will find yourself challenged. You will find more faith in your own abilities, as the loving teachers have faith in you. Your self-confidence and self-awareness will increase. Whether you are just starting out in the world of Yoga or if you have studied with masters, there is a class that will fit your comfort level at Mandala. So come step into our spacious light-filled studio, feel the ocean breezes as you practice and open your heart.
