Jolie is the Founder and Director of Mandala Yoga Center for Healing Arts, and has been a certified yoga teacher from The Patanjali Yoga Center in Khatmandu, Nepal since 1990. Jolie has certification as an Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Practitioner from the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and is trained as a practitioner of the Ayurvedic hands on Treatments and as a level I cranial sacral practitioner. Her classes incorporate essential oils and guidance from Ayurvedic daily wisdom into a more traditional vinyasa flow. As a student of the classic Ashtanga system she returns to that particular sequencing to shape her classes. It's a practice that celebrates a vibrant life both on and off the mat.

Sheryl leads students in an anatomically detailed, breath based, vinyasa flow, interwoven with mantra, and philosophy, and is known for her exuberant, comprehensive teaching of yoga. Sheryl has taught yoga, and dance, with integrated anatomy, for over 3 decades, and is grateful to many teachers including, Doug Keller, Colleen Gallagher, Russill Paul, and Thich Nhat Hanh. She holds certifications in Yoga, Wellness Coaching, Laban Effort-Shape, an MFA in Arts Administration, a BFA in Dance, and has enjoyed professional careers as a ballet / modern dancer and teacher, an arts administrator, and fitness coach. When not at the studio, Sheryl mentors dancers in classical and contemporary dance technique, at the Ross Upper School. She may be found by a warm wood stove in winter, and on the beach in summer, meditating on the beauty and spaciousness of the Hamptons.

Emily Weitz-Mclean believes that yoga is a tool to access the truth within, to remain grounded in the moment, and to breathe through the tight spots in life. Educated in the Anusara style, she completed her 200-hour teacher training with Lois Nesbitt, Ellen Saltonstall, and Julie Dohrman in 2007. Since then she has been bringing these profound teachings to studios all over the East End. She weaves themes such as grounding, joy, and centering to help students bring the strength of their practice to their everyday lives.

Born and raised in East Hampton, Stacy is thrilled to be able to share her love of yoga with the community in which she grew up. While working in the fast-paced fashion industry in both NYC and the Hamptons, Stacy began to realize she needed something to bring more balance into her life. Roey Ficaro, LCSW, RYT, CHT, has been a certified yoga teacher for the past 15 years, as well as a practicing licensed psychotherapist for over 25 years. Her extensive yoga training is based on Iyengar and Anusara systems of alignment. As a Reiki practitioner and Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist, Roey specializes in stress-reduction techniques to facilitate healing.

Montauk-born Alison has always had a passion for sports of all kinds - anything that involved physical movement. Once she discovered yoga at 17, she fell in love with it's principles and the blend of spirituality, breath and movement.
Alison's newfound love moved her to practice many different styles of yoga as frequently as possible. She then deepened her practice with Mandala Yoga's teacher training program. Alison teaches playful, vinyasa-inspired classes that offer glimpses of many aspects of yoga including breathwork, spirituality, philosophy and meditation.

The style of yoga that I teach is vinyasa, which directly translates “to place in a particular way.” In linking breath & movement, my classes are designed to bring your awareness to the present moment while strengthening the mind/body connection. Rameshwar Das met Ram Dass in 1968 soon after his first trip to India. Ramesh was with Neem Karoli Baba in India from 1970-72. He leads meditation, including at Ram Dass retreats. Ramesh has been a free lance photographer and has taught photography and photo-journalism, and has also worked as an environmentalist and writer. He has collaborated on many projects with Ram Dass over the years including the original Be Here Now and the Love Serve Remember recordings, and is co-author with Ram Dass on his newer books, Be Love Now and Polishing the Mirror. Ramesh serves on the boards of Love Serve Remember Foundation, Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Taos, the Anna Mirabai Lytton Foundation, and the Barnes Landing Association.

Michael, having grown up with many twists, turns and some hard times in Inner City Philadelphia, found an outlet of expression first through dance and then later applied this to yoga. Michael follows a truth-through-movement type of philosophy, creating space for each student to thrive through a series of original sequences. In his words: “through movement you can find your own rhythm and connect to your own truth.”

Siri Rishi Kaur has been teaching & studying Kundalini Yoga for almost 2 decades. She teaches the technology of Kundalini with precision and a deep understanding of the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. She served as Senior Teacher at Golden Bridge NYC for 7 years under the guidance of Gurmukh, as well as apprenticed with HariKaur's KRI Teacher Trainings for 5 years.
lifelabsrk is her latest creation, combining Kundalini Yoga and guided meditations with Gong Sound Healing into a powerful container. Siri Rishi currently offers her lifelabsrk signature classes, workshops and retreats throughout NYC and the Hamptons, delivering the teachings in a practical and down to earth fashion, making Kundalini Yoga approachable and applicable to each individual's needs and level of experience.
Iyengar, Heart of Yoga 500 hour RYT
Kate is at heart a traveler and adventurer, for years studying traditional arts and teaching yoga in Japan, immersing in India, living in a monastery in Thailand, trekking the Himalayas in Nepal, and walking alone across Tibet to Lhasa from Southwestern China. She visits India regularly to visit her teachers and the temples in the Himalayas. She has studied for 35 years with master teachers of Yoga, BKS Iyengar, Patabi Jois, among others. Throughout the yoga journey, she is certified in Shiatsu Massage, Ayurvedic healing, natural gourmet cooking and Feng Shui.
Eric is a teacher & practitioner of Yoga for nearly 15 years. He is an established homeopath as well as a massage therapist. His private practice, Holistic Life Works, is based in NYC and Eastern Long Island. He currently participates in the “Urban Zen” integrative therapy program that brings holistic healing techniques to hospitals and other medical institutions. Eric is also a “master trainer” for Y4C (Yoga for Cancer) that allows him to offer yoga classes catered for individuals affected by cancer and to educate other Yoga instructors into this methodology.
Barbara Hennessy, MA, RYT 500, Reiki Master
Barbara has been teaching yoga since 2005 and now primarily teaches Restorative Yoga and Urban Zen Integrative Therapy to students, cancer survivors, and women who have suffered abuse. She conducts Urban Zen trainings in the Hamptons and is a volunteer at The Retreat Women’s Shelter.
Barbara has been practicing Reiki since 2009, becoming a Reiki Master in 2013. Since then, she has led Reiki Level 1 and 2 trainings in New York City and the Hamptons, and offers privately scheduled Reiki sessions in Amagansett, NY. She has developed a practice that focuses on Reiki in combination with Restorative yoga and currently teaches that class weekly at Mandala.
Heather’s Hatha Yoga classes are lively and fun; full of thought and philosophy. She encourages her students to find focus through their breath, to expand and play with their strengths and boundaries but to also find their own expression of self in their practice. Principles of alignment are instructed and encouraged so to experience the deepest openings through safe body awareness.
Heather began practicing yoga 20 years ago while dealing with illness utilizing yoga therapeutics. In addition, she counted on yoga throughout her pregnancies and has a strong desire to share with others how yoga can transform the body and mind as well as inspire the soul. Heather is grateful to her teachers Lois Nesbitt and John Seelye.

Rowan began teaching yoga at the age of 18, studying under Heidi Michel Fokine. Rowan’s passion of working with the breath, body, and spirit is represented in her classes which include meditation, pranayama, and asana. Rowan’s classes are vinyasa style with mindful, intuitive movement. Rowan believes in living a passionate and healthy life style, and is able to find magic in everyday life through the practice of yoga.
Through passions like sailing, I’ve understood the healing properties of quieting the mind through intelligent movement of the body, of bringing the mind to the present and creating a strong awareness of the body’s movement through space, the union of mind and body to create more numerous and efficient pathways for one to move through the world. This lead to and fed my passion for yoga and thoughtful movement of body and breath.
My classes have their roots in Hatha yoga with attention to cultivating clear breath and mind, and incorporate functional movement, encouraging you to move swiftly and strongly through life. I began leading people through movement in 2015 after studying with Lois Nesbitt and Jessica Bellofatto.
Om Yoga Certified, Ashtanga trained
Geoffrey discovered yoga while living in New York, working as a modern dancer, performing in New York City and around the world with the choreographers Lucinda Childs, Robert Wilson, and Joann Fregalette-Jansen. He started practicing at the Jivamukti Yoga Center while looking for an alternative to the routine of dance class. He was instantly attracted to the physicality of the yoga practice, and by way of some great teachers, he found the spiritual aspects of yoga sneaking up on him through the physical. This was in 1990, he has been practicing regularly since then.
In 2003 Geoffrey was certified as a teacher through the Om Yoga Teacher Training program in NYC. In January of 2009, he traveled to Mysore, India to pursue his interest in Ashtanga yoga, studying at Sri K. Pattabhi Jois’s Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute.
As well as practicing and teaching, he continues to design gardens and marvels at the relationships between Yoga, the community, and the connection to the earth and all living things.
Rachel Feldman is an ACE certified personal trainer, a certified barre and yoga instructor, and a certified prenatal yoga and pre-and post natal rehab exercise specialist. She focuses on functional movement and body awareness. Creating mindful movement to increase strength, decrease pain, improve overall well being and connect mind and body. She will be teaching prenatal at Mandala this summer.
Kimberly Larson has over 20 years of experience as a certified massage therapist, yoga teacher, and Ayurvedic consultant. She is a passionate health educator and co-owner of Lakshmi’s Garden, where she offers personalized cleansing and rejuvenating retreats, panchakarma, and private bodywork, yoga, and consultation sessions. Kimberly is a graduate of the Kripalu Schools of Yoga and Ayurveda, a former Kripalu faculty member, and has completed advanced studies in India and Thailand. She has devoted the last decade to creating personalized health plans for individuals including daily diet and recipes, personalized yoga and self-care, and cleansing practices tailored to each individual. She and her husband Terrel travel nationally and internationally, teaching and spreading their love of Ayurveda.
