Spicy Greens Recipe
To relieve bloating and gas or constipation you need to boost your agni/digestive fire. Try this recipe.
Spicy Greens
You'll need:
A mixture of even amounts of cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds
Any variety of bitter greens: kale, mustard greens, collard greens, dandelions, spinach.
Chopped onions or leeks
Salt
Oil for cooking
1. Heat up a Tablespoon of oil in a pan on a low-medium fire and add a teaspoon of the seed mixture.
2. When seeds begin to pop, add onions or leeks and a pinch of salt, lower fire and cover to create "sweating" until onions are soft.
3. Add chopped greens and cover again until cooked to bright green.
Optional: Drizzle with olive oil or ghee and add avocado on top.
